Paper Supply

The available paper trays are displayed on the touch screen together with the media

size and orientation preset for each tray.

When changing the size or type of media in a tray, the tray must be reprogrammed by

the System Administrator to match the media being loaded. For more information on

reprogramming the tray, contact the System Administrator.

For information on the sizes and types of media supported by the machine, refer to the

Paper and Other Media chapter in the System Administration Guide.

Select a preset button or [More]

for the [Paper Supply] feature on

the [Copy] screen.

Displays the [Paper Supply] screen. For more information, refer to

[Paper Supply]

[Paper Supply] Screen

Allows you to select a paper tray from the preset trays, including Tray 5 (Bypass).

Presets

Allows you to select a paper tray

from the three preset trays set up by

the System Administrator. The tray

number, paper size, and paper

orientation are also displayed for all

trays.

Displays the [Tray 5] screen when a paper size and type are not preset by the System

Administrator. For more information, refer to

[Tray 5] Screen on page 51

Auto Paper Select

Allows you to select an appropriate tray automatically according to the document size,

amount of reduction or enlargement, and related features settings.

NOTE: When [Paper Supply] is set to [Auto Paper Select], [Reduce/Enlarge] is

automatically set to [100%] and [Auto %] cannot be selected.

[Tray 5] Screen

You can temporarily use Tray 5 (Bypass) to load paper that is unavailable from Trays

1-4. Up to a 10 mm (0.4 inch) stack of paper (approximately 95 sheets of 80 g/m

paper) can be loaded in Tray 5 (Bypass).

• Auto Size Detect - Detects the

paper size automatically.

• Standard Size - Displays the

preset paper sizes on the touch
